PADI Advanced Water Diver Course

If you’re already a certified Open Water Diver then this course will allow you to increase your confidence, develop more specialized skills, and make you more comfortable and relaxed when you dive.  This is an excellent way to get more diving experience under the PADI instructor’s supervision.

Prerequisite

1. PADI/ SDI Open Water Diver certified (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
2. Above 15 years old (12-14 years old for Junior PADI Advanced Open Water Diver)

What's in the course?
To accomplish the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course, you will need to finish five adventure dives, “Underwater Navigation” and “Deep Dive” are compulsory, and you can choose three others with your instructor according to the dive sites and conditions. The most common choices are Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Photography, A.W.A.R.E Fish Identification, Multilevel Dive, and Night Dive.

The topics that will be covered include:
Practical of deep diving and the physiological effects of deeper scuba diving. Additional ways to practice your underwater compass and how to navigate are by using kick-cycles, visual references, and time.
Depending on the Adventure Dives you choose, you also have chapters to read and additional theory work. Your instructor will discuss all the chapters with you, and the good news is, that there is no final exam for the Advanced Open Water Course.

We recommend enrolling in PADI Enriched Air Diver Course or PADI Rescue Diver Course. Also, come back fun diving with us more, the more often you dive, the better your buoyancy control which helps for further courses.
